Commissions + Other Scales

Commissions

While I generally do design and print my own range of items, I am always happy to take on commissions for customers to design something which I currently don't offer at the moment!

The only things I would need, which is the same as when going about the process for what I've got lined up next is needing detailed scaled drawings of the item in question, ideally having at least a front and side view if it's a vehicle, for more complicated designs, more drawings and even photographs might be requested.
If it's urgently needed, I am happy to accommodate, however please note that I might charge a fee to put it to the front of my work queue.

Once designed, it will be priced as according to any other item in my range and will also be added to the range for others to purchase if they wish.
If you wish to commission me for something, please contact me via my contact methods!

Printing designs of Customers

If you have designed something yourself or have downloaded a design that you would like to have printed as well, again I am very happy to accommodate this as well, being charged the same amount to an item which is similar that's already in my range. (eg. >60ft coach = £20)

It would be quite similar to ordering a commission from me, though the difference would be me first inspecting the design to judge it's current suitability for my printer to print it.
Ideally for N Gauge, walls shouldn't be thinner than 0.6mm, and even then have either thicker structural bracing to support it or other support in some fashion.

If your design isn't currently printable, I will do my best to provide detailed feedback to you, the designer, on what I would recommend to change to make printable.
Once we're both happy with how the model has progressed, will get printed as per normal!
Again if interested, contact me.

Rescaling into other scales/gauges

I am also open to printing my designs at other scales if the design is durable enough to print, typically smaller items can be upscaled without issues, though downscaling will need a redesign, though will be charged accordingly due to the extra work and material differences.

Currently all my designs are made for 1:148 British N Gauge, I have printed in HO, TT and OO Gauges, and now have a larger printer to work in these scales without the need to cut designs in half (which to be fair, I wasn't too happy with)
But with the new bigger printer I shouldn't have any issues printing any of my items up to OO Gauge, O Gauge however still limited to what they can order.

When happy with everything after successful prints, will begin adding them to the range as per normal!

Below is a list of what I can print between my two 3d printers currently as whole pieces up to these 1:1 lengths and price differences

Scale and price
difference from N
Elegoo Mars 4 Max
(195 x 122 x 150 mm)
Elegoo Jupiter SE
(278 x 156 x 300 mm)
Time to Print one coach
(Roughly)
N Gauge (1:148) Full range of items Full range of items 2 hours
TT Gauge (1:120) x1.2 Up to 64ft Long Full range of items 3 hours
HO Gauge (1:87) x1.5 Up to 50ft Long Full range of items 4 1/2 hours
OO Gauge (1:76) x1.6 Up to 40ft Long Up to 64ft Long 5 hours
O Gauge (1:43.5) x2.0 Up to 20ft Long Up to 35ft Long Untested

Anything in Gauges smaller than N would require compeltely new models, and while I'm happy to try to support these scales, please be aware that it will take me some time to make new models and branch out into them!
